What is inventory

Inventory is a paid add-on for CheckBiz360. It is not yet another warehouse program: it is material tied to the work the platform already records. It starts from a sentence almost no company can back up with data today:

CheckBiz360 already knows who worked, where, when and on which task. Inventory adds what was used and what was worked with.

What problems it solves

What happens todayHow inventory solves it
Material disappears and nobody knows on which job or with whom.Every issue and every consumption is recorded on the task, in the worker's name, with its time.
The work report does not say what the material for each job cost. The task report adds up the material consumed and its cost per task.
Material goes out, does not come back, and nobody declares it.When the task is validated, whatever went out and was not declared must be settled: returned or used.
The machine is booked twice on the same day, or nobody knows where it is.Each unit (a scrubber, a van, a harness) has its own calendar and warns you when it clashes with another task.
You run out of stock when it is already too late. Each item can have a minimum per warehouse, and managers are alerted when it drops below it.
The warehouse count does not add up and nobody knows why.Every movement goes into a ledger with who did it and when, and negative balances are flagged for a recount.

Two kinds of material, one inventory

Everything managed is material, and each item has a type that only changes how it behaves:

  • Consumable: gets used up. Cloths, detergent, screws. Counted by quantity in each warehouse.
  • Operable: is lent out and comes back. A scrubber, scaffolding, a laptop. Managed by units, each with its own identifier and calendar.

Every screen works the same way for both: you search for the item and the platform asks for what applies, a quantity or a unit.

Where it is

  • Back office: the Inventory section, with two tabs, Stock and Warehouses. Each row opens the item's or the warehouse's record.
  • Tasks: material is assigned when the task is created and tracked in its detail.
  • Mobile app: the worker declares what was used from the task itself, and confirms in My equipment the equipment handed to them.
  • Reports: the task report includes material, and inventory has its own consumption report.

How to subscribe

Inventory is activated from Subscriptions as an add-on to your plan. It includes a 15-day trial. Until it is subscribed, the section explains what it is and how to activate it, and the task report is generated as always, with no material columns.

Equipment: documents, inspections and handovers

For machines, vehicles and PPE, inventory keeps their documents (ownership, CE, insurance, roadworthiness test, mandatory inspections, risk assessment), marks in red what is not compliant without blocking it, warns before it expires and records each handover to each worker with their confirmation from the phone. It all comes out in the "Equipment and PPE" report. See Equipment: documents, inspections and handovers.
