Employee rating

The CheckBiz360 tasks module includes a performance rating system linked directly to the execution of each task. Once the manager validates an employee's work, they can record a score reflecting the quality with which the activity was completed. Over time, these ratings accumulate and feed the employee's efficiency index within the platform's operational intelligence.

Who can rate

The manager and owner roles rate. Each task also includes the Allow rating by supervisor option, enabled by default, which lets the branch supervisors score the work on that specific task.

It is a per-task decision, not a permission on the employee's profile: it is ticked when creating the task or when editing it, alongside the validation and mandatory evidence options.

Rating scale

CheckBiz360 uses a numerical scale from 1 to 5 to score performance on each task:

ScoreMeaning
1Poor execution. The task was completed incorrectly or well below the expected standards.
2Below-standard execution. There were significant shortcomings that required correction.
3Correct execution. The task was completed as expected, without standing out either positively or negatively.
4Good execution. The employee exceeded expectations in some aspect of the work.
5Excellent execution. The employee completed the task in an exemplary way, setting a benchmark for the team.

How to record a rating

The rating is recorded from the task detail in the back office, usually right after reviewing the work.

  1. Open the task detail.
  2. In the Ratings section, press Rate.
  3. Choose the employee you want to rate from those assigned to the task.
  4. Select the score from 1 to 5.
  5. Add a comment justifying the score or highlighting specific aspects of the execution.
  6. If it helps to explain the rating, attach an image (JPG, PNG or WEBP, up to 5 MB): a photo of the result often says more than the comment.
  7. Confirm.

Each rating is listed in the task detail with its author, the role it was issued from and the date.

How ratings feed the efficiency index

Each rating recorded contributes to the calculation of the employee's efficiency index in the CheckBiz360 operational intelligence section. This index aggregates all the scores received in a given period and weights them with other performance indicators, such as the on-time task completion rate and the number of rejections received.

The efficiency index appears in the employee's profile and in the performance reports. It allows performance to be compared between employees, trends to be detected over time and workers who need support or recognition to be identified.

Good practice for objective rating

The usefulness of the rating system depends directly on the quality and consistency with which it is applied. Some recommendations follow:

Rate on the basis of specific criteria, not general perceptions. Before scoring, ask yourself whether the task was completed within the deadline, whether the instructions were followed correctly and whether the result met the defined quality standards.

Be consistent between employees. The same execution should receive the same score regardless of who carried it out. Consistency in ratings is what gives the efficiency index credibility.

Accompany low scores with comments. A rating of 1 or 2 with no explanation can be perceived as arbitrary and generate demotivation. The comment turns the rating into a tool for improvement.

Recognise good work too. Scores of 4 and 5 with a positive comment are a motivational tool that costs nothing extra.

Do not delay ratings. Rating a task weeks after it was completed reduces the relevance of the feedback for the employee and distorts the period reports.
